Economist working in regulation, developing policy and monitoring markets. Economics degree from the University of Birmingham. Previous experience as a government economist, conducting analysis and research.
Volunteered and worked in politics, organising campaigns, conducting research, and developing policy. Led on selections, appeals, and governance. Member of Labour’s West Midlands regional board since 2013 and National Policy Forum (2015–18). Chair of the West Midlands Regional Co-operative Party.
Since June 2018, served on the National Members’ Council of the Co-op Group, the UK’s largest co-operative with over 4 million active members.
Previous experience as a charity trustee at the Guild of Students (2015–17) and a governor at Shrewsbury Sixth Form College. Previously worked at the Alzheimer’s Society, managing stakeholder relations and advising on organisational change.
