Graduated in economics from the University of Birmingham, researching contemporary policy, writing about economic history, and undertaking econometric modelling. Previous experience working as a government economist, conducting economic analysis, writing evidence reviews, and analysing labour market data.

Volunteered and worked in politics, organising campaigns, conducting research, and developing policy. Through regional structures led on selections, appeals, scrutiny, and governance.

Previously worked as a Regional Project Co-ordinator at the Alzheimer’s Society, managing stakeholder relations and advising on organisational change.

Experience as a charity trustee at the Guild of Students (2015–17) and formerly a student governor of Shrewsbury Sixth Form College (2011–12).
